A strobe reveals a severed seal and a certain doom.

Although the song makes you retrace your steps.
The smoke becomes a shroud.
Your feet sinks into the beat until the truth is drowned.

In warm and lofted air,
Like clipped wings beating in staggering spheres,
I spun away into forgotten days then you disappeared.

She severed the sound with a subtle sneer.

She trounced triumphant but trapped by tears.

Love is a gentle noose.
You tightened it with a sweet caress
Then you cut me loose.

The mirrorball explodes--
Pieces shatter across the floor.
I dance paralyzed while the beats pulse thrusts our love out of the door.
The bond which bends is fake--
Bliss binds fools to love's abstract rules.
The shard that reflects you is the one that pierces straight through.
